When I'm not making art my full time job is being a solo mumma to my beautiful little girl.
Art is something that has always been very special to me and helped me get through some rough times by allowing me to express my emotions in a productive way.
I've been out of work for a long time due to a car accident I had years ago which has caused me to suffer from chronic back pain. I spent a couple of years going through the hospital, specialists, physios and the pain clinic to help mend my back but with no success.
I started this small business on Instagram after having my daughter and developed it from there. I had an Etsy store for a few years but I decided that in order to grow my business into something that could help support myself and my daughter I would need to move on to bigger and better things.
I'm a self taught traditional artist and I focus mostly on black and white illustrations. Right now my biggest focus has been working on my female body positivity series. I hope to change the way society views beauty and show women that it doesn't matter how many pumps, bumps, scars or stretch marks you have you are beautiful. All women deserve to love themselves and feel confident when they look in the mirror.
I was born in England but have been living in New Zealand since 2003.
My art is inspired by my emotions, nature, my dreams and things that have sentimental meaning to me.
My dream is to be able to create art full time and have a sustainable business so I can support my daughter and show her that anything is possible if you work hard and never give up.
